Supporting the Sienna Elizabeth Rose Legacy & Cuddlecot

This beautiful family are incredible and what Hayley has achieved in such a short time is phenomenal. I've vowed to support Sienna's Legacy and also Cuddle cot in the UK in any way I can, supplying angel wings and little keepsakes for memory boxes for other families in Spain and also to fundraise for more vital Cuddle Cots in the UK.

The Sienna Elizabeth Rose Legacy has been created to support families in Spain whose babies are born sleeping.

Hayley’s story begins with a deeply personal tragedy – the loss of her baby daughter, Sienna Elizabeth Rose, who was born sleeping. While many would understandably struggle to face the world again after such a loss, Hayley chose to honour her daughter’s memory in a way that continues to touch lives across communities and beyond.

Determined that Sienna’s legacy would be one of love and hope, Hayley founded the Sienna Elizabeth Rose Legacy – a heartfelt initiative with a mission to support grieving parents during the darkest moments of their lives.

In a powerful first achievement, Hayley was able to donate a cuddle cot to the hospital where Sienna was born. This special piece of equipment allows parents precious extra time with their babies – time to hold, love, and say goodbye in their own way. It’s a gift no parent would ever wish to need, but one that makes an indescribable difference in those devastating moments.

But Hayley’s vision doesn’t stop there. She is currently working on creating and distributing comfort kit boxes for bereaved parents – carefully curated to provide both emotional and practical support. Her mission is clear: no parent should feel alone in their grief.

Her dedication and strength have not gone unnoticed. In fact, Hayley's work has drawn international attention, with interest from American media outlets and a television interview soon to air that will help spread awareness even further. Her story, and more importantly, Sienna’s story, is being shared around the world – lighting a path for others walking through the same unimaginable pain.

Hayley is also actively organising fundraising events, rallying her community and beyond to support this vital cause. Through every event and every conversation, she ensures that Sienna’s name continues to shine as a symbol of love, resilience, and change.

There are few words powerful enough to describe the courage it takes to transform personal loss into purposeful action. But what is clear is that Hayley Wilkins is not only a grieving mother – she is a beacon of hope, an advocate for compassion, and an inspiration to us all.

The goal :

•Provide the hospital / donate a cuddle cot

•Raise money to help others with funeral costs

•Provide the hospital with boxes to support families, inc tools to remember babies, baby moulds/ink pads/memory pieces

I'm Kerry, Finley's mum and founder of The Forever Finley Project. Married, mum of 4 but 1 of which unfortunately isn't earth side. We lost Finley at 26 weeks gestation in 2023. Our kids never met him but always mention him, keeping his memory alive but another way to keep his memory alive is through The Forever Finley Project and doing good in his name.

We will be providing care packages and keepsakes to bereaved families, that'll be distributed by local hospitals and funeral directors and hoping to expand to the rest of England in future if hospitals/funeral directors request our help. We are also hoping to be in the position to be able to help bereaved parents with costs towards their baby's funeral. Funeral directors do offer the basics free of charge or minimal cost but we believe every baby, no matter what gestation they were deserve the best send off. We also hope to be able to assist in helping bereaved parents towards counselling in the future if they wish to receive it and we hope to host some social events throughout the year where bereaved families can come together and meet others in a similar position to them. Creating a safe space, helping them all feel less alone on what a lot of us bereaved parents feel like is an isolating and lonely journey. None of this can be done without raising vital funds, which is why fundraising and the donations we receive play the biggest role in what we do.

We appreciate all the support we receive whether it's a donation, someone wanting to fundraise on our behalf by doing a sponsored run or walk for example or even if it's just a like/follow and share of our socials. Anything is appreciated.

Showing our support for the Alzheimers Society

Throughout April we are organized a fundraising initiative for the Alzheimer's Society to demonstrate our support for Stoneleigh Care Home in Annfield Plain, County Durham, which offers exceptional care to individuals living with Alzheimer's and their families, including our family and my mother, who resides there.

Their remarkable Administrator, Sarah Parkin, is courageously undertaking the challenge of shaving her head to raise funds and show their support to this charity .

We handmade LOTS of pin badges featuring authentic forget-me-not flowers and donated them free of charge to the care home for their residents, staff and visitors on the day and also had more pin badges available with Lookswell in Pelton for any clients wishing to make donations.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful cause.
